CHAPTER 12: Performing Network Analysis

IN THIS CHAPTER, you will learn about network forensics. The main topic is network packet analysis. However, you will also explore network traffic analysis, router forensics, and firewall forensics. Unlike other forensics tasks, some of these tasks will be performed on live systems. For example, network analysis is done, at least in part, on a live network with actual traffic. Router forensics is usually done on an active router.
