Introduction

Apple organizes your messaging on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch around two technologies and three apps: FaceTime for audio and video conferencing (plus Apple TV); Messages for texting, including rich media and other interactions; and Phone for placing voice phone calls with some overlap with FaceTime audio calling.
