I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Time and money: two essential things that can be in short supply for sustaining a productive writing life.
Time
For focused, intensive writing time, consider applying for a residency at a writers’ or artists’ colony. Most of these provide time and space for writing at no or nominal charge (including meals). Besides the benefit of sustained writing time, you also will meet other writers and artists who will inspire and support your work. Lists of retreat centers can be found online, at websites such as Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) and Poets & Writers magazine.
