Temporal Data Clustering

Abstract

In chapter 2, we generally reviewed the temporal data mining from three aspects: temporal data representation, similarity measures, and mining tasks. Now, we are going to discuss four classes of temporal data clustering algorithms including partitional clustering, hierarchical clustering, density-based clustering, and model-based clustering. Furthermore, clustering validation techniques will be reviewed at the end of this chapter.
