So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

K-means clustering is very popular because it is fast, simple, and robust. It also has some disadvantages: the biggest being that the user has to specify the number of clusters. Second, the algorithm does not guarantee global optima. Third, it is very sensitive to outliers.
