PathPing can be considered to represent a route tracing tool that combines
the features of Ping and Traceroute commands with additional capability.
Similar to Ping and Traceroute, PathPing operates under the Command Prompt.
When invoked, PathPing transmits packets to each router along the path to
the specified host. Where PathPing differs from its dynamic duo cousins is in
the fact that it includes options that permit testing for quality-of-service (QoS)
as well as adds a statistical computation capability when the results are
summarized.
