Let’s start with a quick overview of how to use Lightroom. On the following pages I have provided an example of a complete workflow, showing how Lightroom can be used to process and manage photos that were taken on a typical location shoot (Figure 1.16). Of course, there are lots of ways you can integrate Lightroom into a photography workflow, so rather than try to introduce every feature that’s in the program, I thought it better to show you the way a photographer like myself uses Lightroom. The workflow described here provides a good introduction to what Lightroom does, how it can be used to speed up the way you work, and how best to integrate Lightroom with Photoshop.
