So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In 2021, I packed my bags for Boston to meet the IBM Cyber Range team. As part of IBM’s X-Force division, I was no stranger to cyber security, but the Cyber Range – IBM’s crown jewel for client training – was something else entirely. As an Irishman, Boston carried its own significance. Known as the unofficial capital of the Irish diaspora and steeped in history, it felt like the perfect place to start this new chapter.
The trip didn’t disappoint. Boston was everything I hoped it would be, and the Cyber Range team was just as impressive. It was there I met Sébastien.
