With a baseline of your IT knowledge established and a history lesson endured, we are now ready to get our hands dirty. Part 2 and all subsequent parts will have more around the practical uses of Linux, and in almost all sections, there will be exercises for you to try. Most of these exercises will challenge you to use what you read in the chapter to accomplish your tasks.
