What Will People Do with More Time Free from Work?

For the first movers onto the four-day workweek, how will they use the additional eight hours of “free” time? There is no doubt that some people will choose to remain with 40 hours of work, and so they will either choose overtime at their main job or find another job to fill in eight more hours of work during the week. But what about everyone else?

One way to look at this question is to ask another: how do people divide up their time into various types of activity? Of course they have to sleep, and at least most people have to work to produce income to pay the bills.
