Hans Rosling is a professor of International Health at the Karolinska Institute, in Sweden. He is also a world-famous medical doctor, statistician, and speaker. He has lectured on health and development at many important conferences, including TED. He is head of Gapminder, which produces software that helps visualize publicly available data and whose goal is to raise awareness of world health issues through the use of statistics and animations.
