I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
2. iMovie Fundamentals
iMovie is designed to be easy to use, but the interface is intimidating at a first look. This is especially true if you’ve previously used other software such as the original iMovie HD, Final Cut, or Adobe Premiere. So, although it’s possible to sit down the first time and jump right in, you’ll benefit from understanding the fundamentals of how iMovie operates.
This chapter sets the groundwork for the projects that follow in the rest of the book. You may already know some of the material, in which case I urge you to skim these pages and pick out any tips or techniques that may be new to you.
