iMovie is designed to be easy to use, but the interface is intimidating at a first look. This is especially true if you’ve previously used other software such as the original iMovie HD, Final Cut, or Adobe Premiere. So, although it’s possible to sit down the first time and jump right in, you’ll benefit from understanding the fundamentals of how iMovie operates.
