Now that you know the career path that you’d like to take, or at least have a better understanding of what’s available and the starting moves to get you there, it’s important that you start focusing on the skills that will help you thrive and succeed. And, as you know, being an engineering multiplier is how you can have the biggest impact.

There are many skills that make an engineering multiplier effective, and they fall into two areas: people skills and problem-solving abilities. For both, you need to know how to utilize AI tools in a way that helps you and everyone else around you to be more effective.

Good work alone is not enough, however; you also need to make sure that everyone understands how great the work you are doing is. Chapters 5 and 6 will discuss that in more detail.  Now, let’s get into the specific skills that would help you in each of the parts.
