Paul Sery is a systems administrator employed by Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He's currently working on creating a centralized log event collection and analysis system and using open source public key encryption to build inexpensive two‐factor authentication systems.
In his spare time, he and his wife Lidia enjoy riding their tandem through the Rio Grande valley. They also enjoy traveling throughout Mexico. Paul is the author of Linux Network Toolkit, Knoppix For Dummies (both through Wiley Publishing), and several other Linux books. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico.
