So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 8. Tips for Creating Specific Types of Diagrams
This chapter is a potpourri. Unfortunately, I don’t have space to delve into the details for every template, shape, and add-on. But I hope that you say, “Aha, just what I needed!” at least a few times before you reach the end!
By now, you’ve seen plenty of Visio’s features. You know to be on the lookout for custom right-click menu items, yellow control handles, and Ribbon tabs that bring extra functionality to shapes and templates.
To complete the story, you need a bit of wholistic wisdom to accompany those features. The aim of this chapter is to briefly share some in-depth features and techniques for using a selection of Visio’s templates and shapes.
