Part III. Appendixes
Part III contains six appendixes that supplement the core reference material provided in Part II. These include:
Appendix A which surveys the extensive changes the language has undergone with the release of the .NET platform.
Appendix B which lists each language element from Part II in several different categories. You can use it to identify a particular language element so that you can then look up its detailed entry in Part II.
Appendix C which lists VB.NET operators, including a somewhat more detailed treatment of logical and bitwise operators.
Appendix D which lists VB.NET intrinsic constants, as well as VB.NET enumerations and their members.
Appendix E which documents the operation of the Visual Basic command-line compiler.
Appendix F which lists the elements that have dropped out of the Visual Basic language as a result of its transition to the .NET Framework.
