Starting with this chapter, we will dive deep into the world of vCenter and vCenter Operations counters. The topics we will cover are:
- The need to classify the counters based on the two roles
- Counters related to compute (focusing on CPU and RAM)
- Counters related to storage
- Counters related to network
- All metric groups in vCenter and vRealize Operations
- An example of how vCenter Operations does not simply regurgitate what's in vCenter (it can take a different view from vCenter)
