Now that we have our vCenter installed and configured, we can discuss vSphere Distributed Switch (vDS) and how to create a vDS.

Figure 14-1 shows the design of our test lab vSphere environment using the vSphere Distributed Switches that we will work on in this chapter and subsequent chapters. The design has three ESXi hosts and four physical NICs distributed in the following two vDSs with two physical NICs each.
