Once you have a picture-locked film and a mixed sound track, the big creative choices are over. Yet there is still some finishing work to be done, and this phase has a few additional aesthetic considerations to think about before you transfer your film from your NLE system and onto a format that will allow you to send it out into the world. This chapter looks at the finishing process for the two common workflows discussed on page 398, namely, projects finishing on HD or SD broadcast formats.
