I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In the past professionals on Wall Street have had a huge advantage over the private investor/trader, but the gap is closing fast. The combination of broadband and mega-powerful PCs with massive storage and memory capacity means that you can create software that enables you to find suitable candidates to trade consistently and successfully and in real time.
This has become my work focus...to create tools to help me identify great looking trades that fit my criteria and are within my trading comfort zone. My comfort zone involves trading stocks that are trending and forming flag patterns. From there I can easily determine which strategy to employ.
