Haptic display represents a promising interface for human-computer interaction that provides users with nuanced information in virtual environments. Humans utilize tactile and haptic information to determine object properties using thousands of mechanoreceptors located in the hands. Various haptic illusions can also be created by applying vibration and/or deformation to tactile mechanoreceptors. This chapter describes the state-of-the-art in wearable haptic display devices.
