perfdump is a “service” function which is built-in to the Netscape Enterprise Server. It can collect various pieces of performance data from the web server internal statistics, and it displays it in ASCII format when a request is issued for it.
The components of the web server which can be monitored with perfdump are:
Listen socket status and thread count
Keepalive data
Server cache data
Server DNS cache data
Asynchronous DNS cache data (Unix only)
