It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to Approach This Book
Photography is like riding a bicycle or swimming—the best way to learn is by doing, and this book is written with precisely this approach in mind. In other words: become absorbed with the topic, concentrate on the job, and establish a direct route to your nervous system. This book is structured so you can create your own approach. You can begin with the first steps outlined in chapter 1 or you could start with chapter 4 and learn all about architectural photography. There is no need to plough through it from cover to cover—think of it as a launch pad to a journey of discovery.
