Installing Perl and Perl Modules

The ActiveState Perl installation provides a convenient mechanism for installing modules that do not ship with their installation called the Perl Package Manager, or PPM. Using PPM, you can easily install many of the Perl modules that are available from the ActiveState web site right from the command line.
