When it comes to running scripts in Windows PowerShell, all scripts are not equal. You are likely to have many different types of scripts within your environment. Some scripts—written quickly for a one-time use—are little more than a collection of commands that might be typed at the Windows PowerShell console. Other scripts more closely resemble applications and should be treated as such. These are the scripts that are used to perform mission-critical configuration tasks and automated deployment and that are used by the help desk to aid in troubleshooting problems.
