Chapter 18. Configuring Server Core after Installation
This chapter provides information and commands concerning the following topics:
• Restoring the command prompt
• Logging off, shutting down, and rebooting
Tip
You should be familiar with Server Core when preparing for the 70-642 and 70-643 exams.
Tip
If you’re running Windows Server 2008 R2, it’s much easier to complete most of the configuration with sconfig.cmd. It is not available by default on Windows Server 2008, and you’re unlikely to see any test questions on it; however, it’s a good menu-driven method of setting up a Server Core installation.
