O’Reilly covers everything we've got, with content to help us build a world-class technology community, upgrade the capabilities and competencies of our teams, and improve overall team performance as well as their engagement.
I wanted to learn C and C++, but it didn't click for me until I picked up an O'Reilly book. When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.
I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.
I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

All Java specifications are developed using the Java Community Process, which is the program that Sun Microsystems is using for revising existing specifications and developing new ones. The Java Community Process Web site is http://www.jcp.org. Each specification is known as a Java Specification Request (JSR) and is assigned a unique number.
Unlike J2SE or J2EE, there is no J2ME specification, per se. All the specifications below comprise the J2ME specification. Note, however, that JSR068 is the next-generation J2ME specification and will introduce building blocks, to make the creation of profiles an easier task.
- CLDC Specification (JSR-30)
- CLDC Next Generation (JSR-139)
- MIDP Specification (JSR-37)
- Mobile Information Device Next Generation (JSR-118)
- PDA Profile Specification (JSR-75)
- CDC Specification (JSR-36)
- Foundation Profile Specification (JSR-46)
- Personal Profile Specification (JSR-62)
- RMI Profile Specification (JSR-66)
- Java Game Profile (JSR-134)
- J2ME Multimedia API Specification (JSR-135)
