Im abschließenden Projekt geht es um die Frage, wie man Gebrauchsgegenstände nach den eigenen Vorstellungen designen kann, die so nicht gekauft werden können. Sehr schön ist es, solche Gegenstände beispielsweise zu verschenken, da sie wirklich individuell sind.
Ich wollte schon immer selbst gestaltete Schachfiguren besitzen. Diese Idee habe ich lange entwickelt und konnte sie mit meinem 3D-Drucker endlich realisieren.
19.1 Designgrundsätze für Schachfiguren
Die Formen aller heutigen Schachfiguren gehen auf deren Standardform zurück. Sie nennt sich das Staunton-Design und ist seit 1849 in Gebrauch. 1924 wurde es vom Weltschachverband bei dessen Gründung als Standard definiert. Es wurde allerdings zwischenzeitlich modernisiert ...
