It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

實體層收斂程序（Physical Layer Convergence Procedure，PLCP）為 802.11 網路中
實體層的上層元件。各種實體層有各自的 PLCP，以輔助 MAC 層進行訊框封裝。
PMD（實體媒介相關子層）
實體媒介相關子層（Physical Medium Dependent，PMD）為實體層的底層元件，負
責傳送 RF 訊號給其他 802.11 工作站。
PMK（成對主鑰）
成對主鑰（Pairwise Master Key，PMK）為申請者與認證者之間所有金鑰資料的源
頭，它可以自驗證過程中的 EAP 方法產生，或是以預設共享金鑰（Preshared Key）
直接提供。
PPDU（PLCP 協定資料單元）
PLCP 協定資料單元（PLCP Protocol Data Unit，PPDU）。完整的 PLCP 訊框包含
PLCP 標頭、MAC 資料欄位、MAC 與 PLCP 標尾（Trailers）。

協定層間的溝通是透過協定資料單元所進行，例如 IP 層的協定資料單元即為熟悉的
