Quality voice-over matters. And this single statement has huge connotations which, if not fully considered by everyone in the development chain (the game producer, script writer, voice director, voice actor, audio editor, and programmer), can literally make or break the perceived value of a game. It doesn’t matter how wonderful the music, sound effects, and gameplay are, if character dialog and narratives are so bad that they make the player cringe, the overall quality of the game will be affected in a really bad way.
