Downloading music from the web is a big deal. Originally popularized by college students (with fast university Internet connections), users of all ages are now using the Internet for at least part of their music listening.

A wealth of music is available online that you can download and then play back on your PC, from a variety of sources—online music stores, file trading networks, Internet radio stations, and the like. It's like having the world's biggest jukebox available to you, over the Internet.
