I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

stream.Mode = ConnectModeEnumThe Mode property indicates the permissions for modifying data within a Stream object.

Description
The default value for the Mode property of a Stream object that is
associated with an underlying source is
adModeRead. Stream objects that are instantiated
in memory have a default value of adModeUnknown
for the Mode property.
The Mode property is read- and write-enabled while the Stream object is closed, but read-only once it is opened.
If the Mode property is not specified for a Stream object, it is inherited from the source used to open the object, such as a Record object.
