Now that you have experience working with the tools and the Properties panel, you can put it all together and start designing your UI.

Keep in mind that the terms layer and object are used interchangeably in this XD minibook, as each object automatically appears as layer in the Layers panel. Even if an item is grouped, it still exists as its own layer within the larger group.

Throughout this chapter, you discover how to organize, select, and group your objects in Adobe XD. You also find out how to scale and rotate your objects, as well as align and distribute them evenly.
