Chapter 3. Conclusion and Example Platforms
Ultimately, AI orchestration is about joining the systems together. It is first and foremost about the integration and coordination of everything.
“When we join things under the headline of a decision, we must have a way of orchestrating all the machine learning systems, all the human knowledge, all of the automated metrics and relevant information together into a common view of things,” Pratt says. “It’s exactly analogous to a picture of the Gantt chart where we have all the people with different roles and how they interact with each other.”
Example Platforms
AI orchestration is a relatively new term and concept. It is also increasingly being used to market platforms offered by a variety of vendors seeking to assist companies with this major AI endeavor. Expect new brands and vendors to join the list of providers soon. Like the term “AI” applied to a huge variety of software, the definition of AI orchestration varies widely in platforms currently on the market.
For now, examples listed in this report reflect early-to-market providers and are not an indication of any standardization in offerings or product classifications. Further, this is not an exhaustive list, nor is it a ranking or result of actual product reviews but merely an acknowledgment of market presence.
