I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

We are still some time away from having our mobile devices completely replace laptop and desktop computers, but we are getting close. I have been using my phone as my primary e-mail and Twitter platform for some time, and I have taken several business trips where I was able to leave my laptop behind and rely solely on my phone and tablet. Only a year ago, when I wrote the first edition of this book, creating new content on a mobile device was still very limited; today, creating many types of documents, including those supported by Microsoft Office, is becoming increasingly possible.
That said, I will not be getting rid of my laptop any time soon. The simple reality is that laptops and desktops remain much more powerful than any mobile device, and a wide variety of software is simply not available. Still, the number of things now possible on my smaller devices still amazes me.
