I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I recently heard someone describe smartphones as a technology that allows users to kill time productively, and thought it an apt description of how I actually use my phone a lot of the time. I will pull it out to quickly check Twitter or e-mail while I am in line at the store or waiting to board a plane. That said, I have to admit that while I use my phone a lot to kill time, it is not always all that productive: There are plenty of times that I will spend time in line playing a game rather than checking e-mail.
The good news for Android users is that the variety of games available on the platform will suit almost any taste. Serious gamers can find games that might rival some found on desktop computers, while more casual gamers like myself can ...
