I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Making Ansible roles where possible
The best way to optimize a task is to make it an Ansible role, or preferably multiple roles if it has multiple goals. A task that has been transformed into a role is ready to be used with multiple situations, and it can be shared to be used by other users. Roles can be included in multiple playbooks to avoid writing the same lines of code twice or more. Ansible has a role-sharing platform called Galaxy, where the community shares their roles with other users. We will cover this in more detail in the next chapter.
