Linux administration is not limited to administrating servers. Nowadays, Linux GUI users are on the rise, due to the emergence of new scientific research and other sophisticated tools that are being developed to work better in a Linux environment. Some of these tools do require the Terminal to be used, but there are others that require a GUI interface, for example, to show a 3D-rendered molecular structure.
