I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What is ROC?
ROC is a statistical tool to assess the accuracy of predictions. The accuracy of predictions plays a major role in how predictions would be used.
Quoting Prof. Andrew Ng, Stanford University, chief scientist at Baidu, here for reference:
"The difference between 95% accuracy versus 99% accuracy is between you sometimes making use of it versus using it all the time ."
ROC curves provide a visually appealing way to summarize the accuracy of predictions.
