An Apple Watch would be still be pretty great even if it didn’t tell the time, but then it’d have to be called something else. Perhaps the Apple Wrist Wearable Thingy, or something cool and catchy like that. (It’s no wonder I don’t work for Apple’s marketing group, right?)
Well, thankfully Tim Cook and the gang made the wise decision in 2015 to include a clock feature in their fancy new wearable device, so they were able to give it its now well-known moniker without looking really silly. But not only did they include a clock app, they made it exceedingly customizable so that everyone who wore one could make it suit their tastes and lifestyle. The first Apple Watch offered only 10 watch faces, but that number has bloomed to more than 40! Trust me when I say that there’s a watch face for just about anyone. ...
