So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 5Advanced Functionality of the Report Designer
Although this chapter reviews some of the basic functionality of the Report Designer, it primarily looks at some of the advanced Report Designer functionality that makes setting up and formatting reports required by corporate management quicker and easier. Fortunately, many of the formatting options and settings are the same as or very similar to those for the Web Application Designer, so we do not need to cover them again here. This chapter also assumes that you are already very familiar with the Report Designer activities and processes or have used something similar, such as Crystal Reports, to format and structure reports such as annual statements and corporate financial reports.
