2 Protocol for Standardized Data Collection in Humans
Following strictly standardized conditions and procedures for capturing infrared thermal images is the mandatory requirement to get valid and reliable information on both image content and temperature estimation. Thermal images of high reliability reduce the workload for image processing to suppress artifacts and correct positioning errors, thus increasing the credibility of automatically obtained temperature readings.
