Body temperature is a vital parameter used in the medical field for indicating abnormal activity of human tissues. Infrared (IR) thermal imaging produces information on skin temperature distribution in various body regions. The thermal property of human skin varies between the different layers or within the layers of the skin due to the presence of the blood vessels. Depending on the individual’s condition and the surrounding environment, the human body will dissipate the excess heat energy.
