The Wumpus world is an example to illustrates how a knowledge-based agent uses knowledge representation to perform its task. It was inspired by a video game Hunt the Wumpus by Gregory Yob in 1973.
The Wumpus world is a cave having 16 rooms (4/4 rooms) connected that have passages to connect one room with other. The knowledge-based agent goes forward in this world.
The cave also has a room with a beast called Wumpus, who would eat anyone entering the room. Although this Wumpus can be shot by the agent, the agent has only one arrow. Note that the Wumpus cannot move.
