When we think about cybersecurity, many imagine malicious hackers typing furiously in dark, smelly rooms, multinational organizations reviewing dashboards and logs scattered across war room screens, or security professionals staring deeply into their monitors as they try to identify the next attack vector. While there may be some elements of truth to these notions, they vastly oversimplify the cybersecurity playing field of today.
