I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Foreword
I am both honored and horrified to have been invited to write the foreword of this important book, Attack Vectors: The History of Cybersecurity, by my dear friend and colleague, Morey Haber. I’m honored because I know how rare it is for someone as learned and accomplished as Morey to entrust a task like this to a nonpractitioner, and dare I admit, a salesperson. I am also horrified because it is not lost on me that I am participating in what is essentially a history book of cybersecurity, and during my own career, I have experienced, firsthand, most of what lies within these pages! A bittersweet reminder of the march of time, I guess, and memento mori.
