SSH接続に必要なキーペアを
用意する
まずは、SSH接続を行うときに必要となるキーペアから作成していきます。
作成内容
キーペアの作成時に必要な項目は、表5.1 の通りです。

キーペアのタイプ RSA SSH 接続で使われる暗号化アルゴリズム
プライベートキーファイル形式 pem SSH接続形式
キーペアは、基本的に作業する人に属するものです。そのため、キーペアの名前は、こ
れまで紹介してきたサービスのような「sample-xxx」という命名規則ではなく、作業者
個別の名前を使った命名規則にするとよいでしょう。
キーペアのタイプは、キーの暗号化で使われるアルゴリズムです。RSAは従来から使わ
れているアルゴリズムで汎用性があります。ED25519は新しく追加されたアルゴリズム
で、RSAよりもキーのサイズがコンパクトで強度もあるとされていますが、しかし本書執
筆時点で、EC2インスタンスにLinuxかMacしか使えないという制約があります。本書
ではEC2インスタンスにはLinuxを使いますのでどちらを使っても大丈夫ですが、デ
フォルトで選択されているRSA を使って説明していきます。
ファイル形式は、作業者が普段使っているPCにインストールされているSSHクライア
