Checking Your Gear and Accessories
Every pet photographer can tell you a nightmare story that involves equipment, me included. Most are situations that could have been avoided with proper planning: dead batteries, missing memory cards, forgetting to bring an important lens, or a bag of empty dog treats.
In this next section, I’ll help you to best prepare yourself from a technical and equipment standpoint, for every single session you do. Who knows? If you develop good habits early on, maybe you can avoid being among the photographers who end up telling nightmare stories.
I recommend doing these things the night before a shoot so that if you remember something at the last minute (the morning of the shoot), you’ll still have time to get it together.
