3. Using XD’s Drawing Tools

In this chapter, we will explore XD’s tools for drawing shapes to use in your site designs. We will also explore how to manipulate the size, shape, color and other properties of those shapes once they have been drawn and how to change their stacking order so that you can choose which objects appear on top of others. We will take a look at the Layers panel and how to convert shapes or groups of shapes in symbols. Finally, we will begin creating the design for the example site that will be used throughout the book.
