9. Creating Interactive Prototypes

Once you have completed your design, it’s time to show it off. In the old days (two years ago), designers created comps of websites in programs like Photoshop, but then to show them to bosses or clients they had to either export a bunch of pictures to e-mail, or laboriously present the comp, turning layers on and off to try to demonstrate how the site would behave when users clicked from one page to the next. This not only was difficult, but also prohibited bosses and clients from interacting directly with the designs.
